Cowboys & Cowgirls, we're ready for your entries in the 2023 Kansas Cowboy Poetry Contest!  There will be two preliminary qualifying rounds, and finals will be held at the Flint Hills Discovery Center in Manhattan on Friday June 9th.

DATES & LOCATIONS:

The top three finalists in each poetry category will move on to the finals in Manhattan.

 

CHOOSE FROM ONE OF TWO PRELIMINARY ROUNDS:

Friday May 5th @ 7 pm -  Wilson County Old Iron Club, 10392 Jade Road, Fredonia  

(in the Rollin ‘Red’ Vandever Memorial Park) 

 

Friday May 19th @ 6 pm -  Hays Public Library, 1205 Main Street, Hays

FINALS:

Friday June 9th @ 7 pm -  Flint Hills Discovery Center, 315 S 3rd Street, Manhattan
